Playoffs? You Wanna Talk About Playoffs?!?

This blog title refers, of course, to THIS, in case you didn't know.

The Watkins Clippers have officially ended their regular season. They ended up being the best in the whole Central Valley League! Yay! They came out 11-3, winning their last 8 in a row. Playoffs begin next Sunday, where they will take on Luxemburg at home. Lux ended their regular season 3-11, but looked to be a pretty decent team, so it could really go either way. Of course I think Watkins will take the win! Here is the playoff bracket:

I think that came out a little blurry so if you can't read that, or want to see more, go HERE. I am really excited to see how far Noah's team will go. It would be so awesome to see them in the state tournament!

Oh PS...I know it's Not Me! Monday, but I just can't think of anything I didn't do. I'm sure there's tons, but my brain is empty!

My Poor Baby

I am so sad right now. My poor hubby has such a bad cough. Nothing is helping. He tried to get to bed early tonight, but I hear him in there right now just hacking away. I feel so bad for him! I think getting some good sleep with help, but how can he sleep when he's coughing constantly? I just had to write about my sadness. Hope everyone had a good weekend...I know I did!

This Land is My Land...

Noah and I took a little trip to Little Falls on Wednesday evening after dropping Ma off in Clearwater. We decided to take the opportunity to check out some potential spots to build our house. It was hard to tell exactly how a house would look in these various locations, so we'll have to go back in the fall after most of the leaves have dropped. It was a lot of fun, but also difficult to try to picture a house set in the woods. Luckily, Noah and I both agreed on our top location. Drum roll please...

Isn't that just the perfect spot? Hahahah. I know Google Earth doesn't do it justice! It is just west of Gene's, about 2 miles from Noah's parents. We had one other favorite place, but it would require at least a .25 mile driveway, which I decided was much too long. It has been a lot of fun talking about houses and doing some research, but I am trying to not get ahead of myself. We must be patient to get exactly what we want! Hopefully someday this Google Earth picture will include the Czech household!

Come Out, Come Out, Where Ever You Are!!

After reading this article this morning, I just had to laugh. It reminded me of a similar incident involving me and Disney World. When my family and I went to Florida, I was in 2nd grade, and apparently a good, and stubborn hider. I decided it would be funny to hide in the close in our hotel room, behind various coats and luggage. My parents and sister spent what I'm sure seemed like forever calling my name and trying to find me. I think they were even asking others if they've seen someone looking like me. Well geez, I had found a great hiding spot...do you think I'd give it up? Finally I could tell they were really freaking out, so I came out and sat on the ground in between the beds, playing with some stuffed animals. They came back in the room and were so mad, but happy to see me. I did feel kinda bad, but we still laugh about it today. At least I'm laughing! :) Sorry Ma!!

There's the very short list of what happened! The fireworks were lots of fun to watch from the dock. I'm so excited to see my Ma today, as she will be staying for the night. Should be fun!!

Not Me! Monday!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week. This is only my second week of participating, so I hope to keep it up!

It wasn't me who ate a whole Girl Scout Tagalong Blizzard, thought I was full, but then decided to eat half a Hershey Bar too! And I certainly did not end up eating the whole Hershey Bar!

I definitely did not take a "Which Minnesota Twins Player are you?" quiz on Facebook twice, because I wanted to get the answer Nick Punto, when I ended up with Justin Morneau the first time. I would never do something like that!

It certainly was not me who was so pooped out from the fun weekend that I sat and watched 3 hours of HGTV last night. It was so nice outside that I would never spend the evening laying on the couch watching people choose a new house. No way!!

Speaking of houses, I would never be so excited about building a house next year that I spend every free second of the day looking & drooling over house plans. I definitely do not have accounts on 3 different house plan websites and check them religiously for newly added plans!

I can't believe all the things I didn't do...I don't know who would ever do those types of things! :)
