I'm so totally bummed. I finally get a job nannying and we get a sweet tube for the boat. Then this happens...
I took a little tumble while working on Monday. Tripped over a race track and fell. Landed with my right hand out to catch myself, and ouchie! Didn't think much of it right away, but after an hour it was really swollen and painful so figured I better go to the Doc. Turns out there is a crack in the bone (between my thumb and wrist, the scaphoid bone) and I have this sweet splint. Luckily no regular cast is necessary as long as I keep this tight. So now I am taking some time off from work until I can lift little Lewis. It's crappy timing, but I guess it could be worse. Since it has taken me extra time to write this blog, I will end it now. TTFN!
WEll isn't that just the black Mariah of a splint! Your hair looks great though, not bad for a "lefty"! I googled scarphoid and read about it. Lucky they could find it. Keep that on tight so you'll have no residual pain later on! Happy recuperating :-)
